feather
A
progressive fading away of the edge of
an image, blending it with the background.
Feathering
tools are found in image editing programs
such as Adobe Photoshop.
file
A
collection of data stored on a disk. This
can be a document, an application or resource.
file
extension
An
optional addition to the file name as an abbreviated
suffix at the end of a filename. (such as photo.eps)
It is used to describe the file type or application
that
created the file. It is always separated from
the filename by
a
period.
